What women wants from men
1. Attentiveness.
Women want to feel special. They want to know a man is paying attention to her. He remembers what she says, remembers important dates, and thinks she’s wildly, wonderfully different from any other woman.

2. Women want a strong emotional connection.
Women want deep emotional intimacy with a man. This intimacy is special, unlike any other intimacy she has, with her family or her girlfriends. She wants to be open and vulnerable with a man and know he gets her and supports her. The man doesn’t need to be emotional, but he needs to be able to connect with her in an emotional way.

3. Women want physical attention.
Women want good sex. They also want to hold hands, to be kissed for no reason, and to cuddle. Women want to feel beautiful, sexy, and cherished. They don’t want to feel like a vehicle for a man’s sexual pleasure, so it’s important to show physical affection when it’s not going to lead to sex.

4. Women want confidence.
Women don’t like arrogance. They don’t want a man who swaggers and boasts and spouts his accomplishments. They do want a man who can take care of himself, who can hold his own with other men, and who won’t crumple or turn bitter offered some constructive criticism.

A man needs to show drive and initiative—with a woman and with other areas of his life.

What Men Want in Woman
1. Beauty.
Yes, men/guys want beauty. They want a face that’s wonderful to wake up to. Men do have different standards of beauty. What unites them is a desire and appreciation for beauty.

2. Sexiness.
Just because he’s started to grow up doesn’t mean he’s not interested in sex. Again—luckily—men have different standards for sexiness. You don’t need five-foot legs.

3. Respect.
Men like women who know how to show them respect. They like women who don’t cut them down in front of other people. They want a woman who can trust him to do what he says he’s going to do.

4. Encouragement.
Yes, even men with robust egos appreciate a little ego-stroking now and then. Give a man encouragement. Tell him he does a good job, that you like being with him, that you’re proud he’s your man. He’ll be proud you’re his woman.

5. Fidelity.
Men want a woman who will stand with him. A woman who shows support, even when things are rough, is a woman to be relied on and loved.
